First night of the portrait photography course and… um, disappointingly (especially considering how much it cost) nothing to tell as yet.
Apart from the fact that I had to take two urgent work calls and my friend texted to say she had given birth a couple of hours before (welcome to the world Florence Atalanta), we didn’t actually do anything. There was an introductory slide show, a tour and the setting of the first weekend project. Apparently we will get one every week which is good news, she says, wondering how she’s going to fit it all in!
In case you want to play along, here is the project.
WEEKEND PROJECT 1: MUGSHOTS Shooting at 400, 200 or 100 ISO and in colour, present an edited-down-from-more 20 headshots next week. They can all be of the same person, or they can be of a couple of people. Headshots only please!
I have no idea what the criteria is when we review these next week as yet. But if you want to play along, feel free to post a link your results on Wednesday evening and I’ll let you know what the criteria for reviewing is after the next class!
